Tiger Eye Agate

Tiger's Eye is a variety of quartz that gets its name from its luminous, striped appearance, which resembles a tiger's eye. Though it was scientifically identified in the 19th century, its history as a protective and powerful talisman dates back to ancient times.

Citrine Quartz

Silicon dioxide (\(SiO_{2}\)) with a trigonal crystal system. Origin of Color: Caused by iron impurities in the crystal structure. Natural citrine forms through slow geological heating or natural radiation of iron-rich quartz, while much of the commercial citrine available today is heat-treated amethyst or smoky quartz.

Spessartine Garnet

Ancient Roots: Garnet jewelry and beads date back over 5,000 years to ancient Egypt (around 3100 BCE), and the stones have historically been used in Roman, Anglo-Saxon, and Victorian jewelry.

Calcite

Calcite is a chemical compound called calcium carbonate (yes, the same stuff in dairy products). As a soft stone, it ranks 3 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. For reference, pennies are tougher than calcite! So, while this gem is used in industrious ways, it’s not as durable as other popular gemstones.

Aventurine (quartzite)

Yellow or pale yellow tints in muscovite mica are primarily caused by trace impurities—specifically minor amounts of iron, manganese, or chromium within the crystal structure.
